When you see the Apple symbol/logo what do you think of? What are your first thoughts that come to mind about the brand or product?

When I see an Apple symbol/logo on a product I think of success and a reliable product.  Although Apple products are generally expensive, they rarely have defects or break.  I have owned a few Apple products over the years and I have never gotten a faulty product or one that has broken.  The first thoughts that come to my mind when I see the Apple brand or a product is innovation and a quality product.  Apple seems to work hard on building each product and does not put a product out into the market unless it is of quality.  Apple has defiantly built a successful image of their brand and continues to build more suceessful and innovative products for their consumers.

If you were to suggest a new product for Apple to make, what would it be? And how would the product keep up the Apple brand image?

Do you think using Flash mobs and other means to relate to young people is a good idea for our future???

I do think that using flash mobs is an effective way to relate to young people.  Flash mobs is a creative way to market the issue of climate change.  Marketing is all about sending a message to consumers, in any way that is most appealing to the target market.  The target market is young adults and many young adults find flash mobs amusing.  Young adults would defiantly watch a video of a flash mob over a speech, in either situation the topic of climate change could be the basis.

Do you think flash mobs is the new future of marketing?

Google's New Customer Survey Tool

Google has developed a new tool to be used when searching on Google webpages.  When on the websites users are sent to answer simple questions made from the host company before they can continue on the site.  It is advertised as an affordable option for companies to find out what their customers or consumers want.  Google then organizes and analyzes the data.  Google only charges between .10 cents and .50 cents for the responses.

If you were a business owner would you use Google's Customer Survey Tool to find out more about your consumers needs?

How else do you think Groupon should advertise in order to get their name out there more?

Groupon is a website that offers coupons for their uses at various places and restaurants all over the world.  They already have ads on Facebook and Twitter which covers the social networking sites well.  They need to have ads on TV and on the radio that reaches other customers that do not use social networking.  Many baby-boomers and elderly people do not use social networking sites, but do watch TV or listen to the radio.  Groupon also has benefited tremendously from their recent IPO, the should use that money to sponsor an event so that they can get their name out to untouched markets.

What demographic group do you think Groupon should target next?

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino launches rewards program

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino launched a new rewards program.  This is a revamped version of their old unsuccessful rewards program.  The old program would give you points for spending money in their casino.  The new program gives you points for gambling, buying food at the resorts and using the spa.  This is a similar program that is being used at Caesars and Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.  I believe that this program will be more successful since many of their customers come to the Hard Rock Resorts for the music experience, not just gambling.  This will appeal more to their target customers who choice their resorts for the experience.

Do you think this rewards program will help increase profits in their resorts?

"What are some of the reasons that you think Domino’s is so much more successful than Pizza Hut?"
Domino's and Pizza Hut are brand competitors but Domino's is more successful.  I believe that they are more successful because they heavily advertise their products.  If I watch even 30 minutes of T.V a day I am almost guaranteed to see a Domino's ad.  On their ads they advertise new products and deals.  I think advertising their deals for pizza's are an excellent way to get new customers and maintain old customers as well.  They know that the majority of their customers are looking for a good deal when it comes to buying a pizza.  In Keene, Domino's has a target market; which is college students.  They cater to them by staying open later on weekend nights, and offering free delivery.  Pizza Hut does not do that, so they are not offering the best services for their target market.
Do you think Pizza Hut is not accommodating to their target market?

Developers Losing Interest in Andriod Phones

Android phones and smartphones are losing developers interest.  Right now Androids are outselling the Apple iPhone , but they are losing interest in developers.  Interest in the Android phone and tablet development has dropped 4.7%.  Developers are now spending more time in developing more app's for the iPhone's.  One of the reason that people use Android's are their many app's that they offer.  Their many app's keep their target market of consumers interested.
What do you think will happen to Android products when they cant offer great app's for their consumers?
